Welcome to the EFC-Oroville website. We are so glad that you found us. Take a look around and see what God is doing in our midst. There is a place here for you to come and grow with us. As a community, we are committed to knowing God through His Word and producing faithful disciples of Jesus Christ who will love, serve, and obey Him as a way of life.
Together we are striving to be a spiritual family that worships well, serves others with heart, and reaches out with purpose to those around us. Coming from all walks of life, we are people who know that we are not perfect, but as a grace-driven church, we believe that there is nothing greater than knowing Jesus Christ and helping others to grow in Him. Whether you are new to the community, a lifelong resident of Oroville, or a visitor just passing through, we invite you to come and join us this Sunday.

About our Name

Evangelical: Means to “herald” or to “proclaim."  We're committed to proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the authority of the sixty-six books of the Bible as the only safe and sufficient guide to faith and life.
Free: Refers to our form of church government, which assures that each local church is free from the control of a denominational hierarchy.  Jesus Christ is the Head of our church, and under the Lord Jesus Christ, we decide and govern our own affairs.  We are dependent upon the active participation of our people in the decisions and ministries of our church.
