Volunteer

For even the Son of Man came not to be served, but to serve...

Mark 10:45

At EFC, we don't see church as a spectator sport. We are called to get our hands dirty and serve alongside each other. Volunteers are a vital part of our church community, and we believe that God has given each of us unique gifts and abilities which we can use to serve in the church. Check out some of the areas where we could use some help and fill out the form below if you'd be interested in serving as a volunteer.

Volunteer Opportunities

Children's Ministries

We are always in need of teachers for our Sunday School classes or helpers in the nursery. We have a teaching rotation that gives our volunteers the flexibility to be in worship, while teaching only once every 4 to 5 weeks. We also need volunteers for our larger events such as VBS and Fall Festival. All Children's Ministries volunteers must fill out a background check form.

Worship Team

If you play an instrument or like to sing, we'd love to have you join our worship team. We have a rotation of musicians that allows each volunteer to enjoy some Sundays worshipping with the congregation.

Student Ministries

As a Student Ministries volunteer, you'll have the opportunity to invest in our teens by teaching Sunday School, or leading a Bible study. We can always use leaders at Youth Group, helping with games, or just spending time with the students. All Student Ministries volunteers must fill out a background check form.

Sound & Tech team

Our Sound & Tech team is always in need of volunteers to help with the production aspect of our worship services. This includes audio and video engineering for our services as well as the livestream and utilizing our presentation software.

Coffee & Fellowship Team

Greeters & Ushers

We all love having our coffee and refreshments after our Sunday service, but these don't appear out of thin air! Our coffee & fellowship teams set up and make coffee before the service and coordinate volunteers to bring refreshments.
Volunteers are needed to be a friendly face that welcome our guests and our regular attendees. Our greeters and ushers serve to make everyone feel welcome and ensure that the sanctuary is ready for worship.
